Alberta Health Services says midwives are primary healthcare providers who are able to offer antepartum, intrapartum - or delivery - and postpartum care to patients in Alberta. But the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge currently doesn't provide delivery privileges to midwives in the city. Malika Karim reports.
