NHL, ex-players reach tentative settlement in concussion lawsuit

The NHL has reached a tentative deal with more than 300 former players who accuse the league of encouraging violent and aggressive play on the ice, while hiding the dangers of brain injuries. But the NHL still accepts no liability, and has not formally acknowledged a link between head trauma in hockey and concussions.
