The Alberta government is committing $1.04 billion to Edmonton’s Valley Line LRT extension west to Lewis Estates. Edmonton Mayor Don Iveson called it a “historic day.” The Valley Line LRT to west Edmonton will open the door to a “different kind of Edmonton,” according to Iveson.
