Defence opens case at Thomas Chan murder trial outlining his long history of concussions

The second-degree murder trial of Thomas Chan resumed Thursday with the defene presenting its case. It begins with testimony from the neuro-psychologist who examined Chan after the 2015 incident.

Chan is charged in the stabbing death of his father, Dr. Andrew Chan, and also faces a charge of attempted murder in the stabbing of his father’s partner.
