Calgary volunteers use nature to prevent flood damage on Elbow River

Sun, Oct 14: The floods of 2013 destroyed not only homes in Calgary but also much of the city’s riverbanks. Now, a local group is doing a “river makeover” using plants to protect water quality and save river properties from erosion. Carolyn Kury de Castillo reports.
