A $9 million road construction project in West Kelowna is under more scrutiny — this time from a city councillor. The project, designed to promote wine tourism, recently fell under scrutiny when crews began installing poles in the middle of the sidewalks. Today, councillor Rosalind Neis pulled out her measuring tape to prove that the road is too narrow and predicts it will become a safety hazard when the snow arrives. Kelly Hayes reports.
