When the Gupta Group scuttled a huge condominium development in Vaughan in September, it said it couldn’t get the money to finance the project. But court documents show the company also had legal problems getting permission to build on the land. Now as Sean O’Shea reports, Gupta is asking Vaughan for permission to build another mega condo at a different location.
