Remember earlier this summer, when the Peterborough Humane Society wanted the public's help in naming 9 puppies? Well, those puppies are now heading to their forever homes. Executive director, Shawn Morey, says there were more than 75 applicants for the puppies. Today, the pups are getting all cleaned up and ready to head to their forever homes. However, Morey says they are still a lot of adult dogs looking to be adopted - and he says there are definitely some benefits to adopting full grown dogs over puppies.
