A local man recorded firefighters as they feverishly worked to rescue a man after home was leveled by an explosion in Kitchener. The man who lives behind the home in question is being credited with jumping into action to save homeowner Udo Haan. He was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries. His wife, Edra could not be rescued and was pronounced dead at the scene.
