Desperate struggle to help flood victims in India’s Kerala state

Incessant downpours since August 8 have caused the worst floods in a century in the southern Indian state, and more than 200 people had died in the rising waters and landslides. Nearly a million people were sheltering in thousands of relief camps, state officials said.
