Stunning aerial footage captures lava from Hawaii’s Kilauea Volcano ripping through lower Leilani

Fresh lava began to flow rapidly from an existing fissure in lower Leilani on May 28, forcing residents in the area to evacuate quickly. According to local reports lava began to flow from fissure number 8 and has the potential to isolate residents if they do not evacuate before it reaches them.
