Morneau: NAFTA sunset clause is not practically workable
Description
May 17, 2018
Finance Minister Bill Morneau said on Wednesday that it's important to quickly conclude NAFTA negotiations with the impending Mexican elections and upcoming changes in the U.S. Congress. However, negotiations must be done in a way that resolves disputes. One red line for the government is the sunset clause, which they don't think is practically workable.
