Dikes and dredging; flood mitigation options in Kelowna
Description
May 15, 2018
After peaking and then dropping last week, the level of Mission Creek in Kelowna is again on the rise and there's the potential for the creek to reach flood levels later this week. That has the regional district fortifying dikes along the creek banks. While the dike improvements are helpful, one long time creekside resident says what's also needed is dredging.
