Environment Minister Catherine McKenna said Wednesday that the government has been clear that the Trans Mountain pipeline is in “federal jurisdiction” and said they’ve been doing scientific research into oil spills to ensure safety around the project when asked about Ottawa’s intervention in B.C.’s court reference.
