April is Safe Digging Month in BC when people are reminded to make an important phone call before digging up the ground. But too often that call isn't made and it can result in a dangerous situation. That was the case Monday in Kelowna when a natural gas line was ruptured at a construction site. The landscaping contractor didn't take advantage of a free service and that could cost him a pretty penny.
