Kelowna looks to borrow money to pay for new road on south slopes

An open house took place Wednesday in Kelowna’s Mission neighbourhood to inform residents of the City’s plans to borrow money to pay for the South Perimeter Road.

The road has been moved to the top of the City’s transportation project list.

Kelowna is using the Alternative Approval Process instead of a referendum to move forward with borrowing money.
