U.S. NAFTA negotiator calls Canada’s position on auto sector a ‘poison pill’

U.S. trade czar Robert Lighthizer panned Canada’s proposal on autos following the sixth round of NAFTA talks, calling it a “poison pill” that would do the reverse of what was intended.
