More than 300 young girls took part in the Jumpstart: Women and Girls in Sport Initiative at Peterborough YMCA. It is meant to encourage participation in sport and recreation. Special guests at the event were Olympians, Brittany MacLean and Larisa Yurkiw, who attended the event to share their own passion for sport.
