They are among the Lake Country residents who were the most impacted by a fast-moving wildfire that swept through the community just over a week ago. Hermida and Ralph Smith lost not only their home but their business as well. Today the couple went back to take another look at what used to be their home for nearly two decades and while the loss is devastating, they feel lucky to be alive.
