Another reminder about the power of social media to whip a rumour into a frenzy. Reports began to circulate last night about an emergency meeting at Buckingham Palace. People jumped to all kinds of conclusions, including that Prince Philip had died. But as Jeff Semple explains, this morning, it was Prince Philip having the last laugh.
