The City of Kelowna has signs in parks all over the city, telling people to stay off the ice
Description
January 10, 2017
The City of Kelowna has signs in parks all over the city, telling people to stay off the ice.
The signs, however, are often ignored as residents clear pond surfaces and enjoy skating and playing hockey.
The city says the signs are up because it doesn’t want to be responsible for ice maintenance and safety.
There is no by-law in place to enforce the signs.
