St. Albert MP Michael Cooper is calling on the federal government to remove inoperative sections of the Criminal Code, calling the obsolete sections "booby traps." It comes after Travis Vader, who was first convicted with second-degree murder in the deaths of Lyle and Marie McCann, was convicted under an outdated section of the Criminal Code.
