Hundreds of people packed the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre for a public meeting Wednesday night. The topic of debate: the controversial Skaha Lake Park development plan. The five hour gathering generated hundreds of comments and many questions. With a community still very divided on the issue at hand, one thing many can agree on is that Wednesday’s moderated meeting was a necessary step in what may still be a very long process.
