Presidential campaign was ‘character assassination’ for Clinton: Baird

Former foreign affairs minister John Baird believes regardless of who is elected the next U.S. president, it will be “challenging” for Canada’s government on a slate of issues, and said he was sad to see his former counterpart, Hillary Clinton’s, reputation dragged through the mud over the course of the election.
