Tue, Oct 11: The 70s are being celebrated at the Museum of Vancouver. The new exhibition, ‘Vancouver in the Seventies: Photos from a Decade That Changed the City,’ showcases key moments from Vancouver’s coming of age, including protest, political upheaval and cultural blossoming. 400 photos from the Vancouver Sun newspaper along with several artifacts from the museum’s collection will be featured. Global’s Linda Aylesworth got a guided tour of the display from retired Vancouver Sun librarian Kate Bird. The exhibit runs from October 13th to February 26th of next year.
