Tue, Oct 4: The most powerful tropical storm in almost a decade has made landfall in Haiti with winds of 230 kilometers an hour. As Mike Armstrong reports, Hurricane Matthew is now headed north. States of emergency are in effect in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina, and millions of coastal residents are being warned to be on evacuation alert.
