Mon, Oct 3: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced his government plans on introducing a $10 per tonne carbon tax by 2018. He wants to grow that amount to $50 per tonne in 2022. The provinces will either have to get in line or introduce a cap-and-trade system. Here’s provincial affairs reporter David Baxter with how Saskatchewan is reacting.
