The importance of canine blood donations

Wed, Sep 21: We hear about blood donors for humans but it’s the same case for animals. The Animal Emergency Clinic of the Fraser Valley has a program to collect blood from dogs and cats. Blood services coordinator Andrea Dyck and Judith Fleming — who’s two dogs — Wes and Heff, are blood donor dogs, tell us about the program.
