The world’s longest aircraft, Airlander 10, left its hangar for the first time on Saturday, August 6, in preparation for its maiden flight. Hybrid Air Vehicles (HAV) faced a delicate operation guiding the 302-foot hybrid airship out of its hangar at Cardington Airfield, UK, with just 20 feet between hangar door and the tips of the aircraft’s fins.
