Sat, Jul 30: Lots of problems have been highlighted about the Rio Olympics.But one that hasn’t been in the spotlight is that very few people in Rio have even basic English language skills. Programs in the city are scrambling to teach police and tourism workers some basic English so they can communicate with the masses of English-speaking tourists that are about to arrive.
