With K-Days in full swing, tens of thousands of Edmontonians have already taken in amusement park rides and fried food as they do every year. But this year, there’s something new at Northlands. It’s partnered up with the Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation to host a traditional powwow. As Shallima Maharaj explains, organizers hope it will become a K-Days fixture.
