Sat, Jul 16: Turkey's prime minister is calling the coup attempt against President Recep Tayyip Erdogan a stain on democracy. He says about 28-hundred members of the military have been arrested and will face justice. Officials say more than 190 people have died in clashes including 104 people described as "coup plotters."
