It was a month ago when Montreal police said a 55-year-old woman had been killed by what was described as a pit bull. As their province now prepares for a possible pit bull ban, rescues and shelters across Quebec are bracing for a wave of so called “dangerous dogs.” The culture behind breed specific legislation is putting many pups at risk of never finding forever homes.
