Former British Home Child recalls a dark time in Canadian History

The United Kingdom has called it a “shameful” child resettlement program – and has officially apologized.
Over the course of several decades, thousands of British children were taken from their country and sent to Canada to make a new life.
As Kimberly Davidson reports, for many, that new life included hard work, harsh treatment, and separation from family.
