Sun, Jan 3: Iranian protesters stormed the Saudi Embassy in Tehran early on Sunday and Iran’s top Shia Muslim leader predicted “divine vengeance” for Saudi Arabia’s execution of a prominent Shia cleric. Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr was one of 47 men killed in the kingdom’s biggest mass execution in decades. Others executed were Sunnis convicted of al-Qaeda attacks in Saudi Arabia a decade ago.
