Meta's new $13 billion A.I. data centre has already broken ground in Stugeon County, just north of Edmonton. There are some people who live in the county that are not pleased with the consultation process. Leo Morawski lives 15 kilometres west of the project. He said he's not trying to stop it's progress, but that this is a case of why he and others were not informed. Sturgeon County Mayor Alanna Hnatiw said there were opportunities for the public to be heard when data centres were added to the land use bylaw a few years ago. Gates Guarin has the story.
