In July 2020, 16-year-old Tregan Crow Eagle was stabbed to death after a night of partying. That fall, then 37-year-old Dustin Big Bull was arrested for the murder. Big Bull was then found guilty in a judge-alone trial in 2023. As Justin Sibbet reports, the case has now come to an end, with Big Bull receiving a mandatory life sentence and 13 years of parole ineligibility, with credit to time already served.
