Oscars to be streamed on YouTube starting in 2029, leaving ABC

The Academy Awards are set to begin streaming on YouTube in 2029, departing from ABC, which will continue to broadcast the ceremony through 2028. YouTube will retain the global rights to the Oscars until 2023.
