Global National: Nov. 29

U.S. President Donald Trump announced this week that he will pardon ex-Honduran president Juan Orlando Hernandez, who is currently serving out a 45-year sentence in the U.S. for drugs and weapons charges. Hernandez was convicted under the Biden administration for helping smuggle hundreds of tons of cocaine into the U.S. — allegations he’s denied.
