The Peterborough Police Services Board says it is maintaining its request for a 9.22 per cent increase for its operating budget. City council on Tuesday voted in favour of sending the budget request back to the police services board for further review and a potential reduction.
However, following a brief closed session meeting Wednesday afternoon, the board announced its request will remain status quo.
