New Brunswick expands subsidized school breakfast program, promises lunch in 2026

The provincial government is giving more details about the free breakfast program that will be available in schools across New Brunswick. They also defended the decision to postpone a promised “pay what you can” lunch program, saying they need to address infrastructure challenges before the rollout is feasible. Suzanne Lapointe reports.
