Prime Minister Mark Carney has arrived in Europe. Carney will spend the next few days meeting with political leaders to discuss securing a ceasefire for Ukraine. He’s also shoring up economic alliances in the face of U.S. President Donald Trump’s trade war. The trip includes stops in Germany and Poland. Carney's trip comes one day after he agreed to drop retaliatory tariffs covered by CUSMA (the North American Free Trade Agreement).
