New video released by the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board shows the moment American Airlines Flight 5342 and an Army helicopter collided in the skies above Washington, D.C. on Jan. 29, 2025. The video, which was released on the first day of a three-day hearing, shows the plane approaching the runway when the helicopter intercepts its flight path and the pair crash into each other, resulting in the deaths of 67 people.
