In a press conference on Wednesday, Canada’s Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry Melanie Joly, in response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s 50 per cent copper tariffs, said that the president had not signed an executive order on it yet, but the government of Canada was “following very closely.”
