Montreal tenants face 71 per cent rent increase since 2019

The average cost of rent for a two-bedroom apartment in Montreal has increased by 71 per cent in the last six years. That’s way above the inflation rate and a rental hike that far exceeds the national average. Global’s Tim Sargeant reports.
