Following a decision to approve exploratory work for the Grassy Mountain coal mining project on the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains, residents from across southern Alberta rallied to voice their displeasure with the Alberta Energy Regulator and raise concerns over the possible downstream environmental impact. However, as Justin Sibbet reports, other residents are pleased with the decision and the jobs it could create.
