Bloc urges Alberta to implement ‘greener model’ if they plan to separate from Canada post-election
Description
April 18, 2025
Though he doesn’t think reports are "credible" that Alberta plans to hold a referendum and separate from Canada if Liberal leader Mark Carney wins the federal election, Bloc Québécois leader Yves-François Blanchet said he would “encourage” such a move “if it were not that their nationalism is basically based on the desire to exploit the dirtiest oil on Earth.”
