Quebec admits $270 million of taxpayer money invested in Northvolt a failure 

The Quebec government admits a major investment into a sweetish battery making company has turned south. The economy minister says $270 million of taxpayer money has been lost after Northvolt filed for bankruptcy protection in Europe. This comes as the future of Northvolt’s EV battery making plant on Montreal’s south shore hangs in the balance. Tim Sargeant reports.
