A demonstration in support of unionized workers rights turned violent Friday. Protesters broke a window outside a building where the labour minister was scheduled to speak, forcing the event to be cancelled. The confrontation comes at a time when many say the government and the union need to work together to deal with a bigger threat south of the border. Global’s Tim Sargeant reports.
