One day after Mark Carney won the race for Liberal leadership leader, Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre sent a warning to Canadians, insinuating Carney was not qualified to take on U.S. President Donald Trump as the U.S.-Canada trade war unfolds. Poilievre says Trump will “leverage” millions of dollars’ worth of Carney’s personal U.S. investments “against the interest of the Canadian people.”
